Spinbob respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Identity and contact data: name, date of birth, home address, email address and phone number.
- Verification data: copies of identity documents and proof of address, and results of electronic age and identity checks.
- Financial data: payment method details, deposit and withdrawal history, and source-of-funds information where required.
- Gameplay data: bets, wins, session times and limits you set.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser and cookie identifiers (see our Cookie policy).
Why we use it
- To open and run your account and process payments.
- To meet our legal and regulatory duties, including age verification, anti-money-laundering checks and safer gambling interactions.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To send marketing, but only where you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share data only with trusted service providers (payment processors, identity verification services, hosting and customer support tools), regulators and law enforcement where the law requires it, and GAMSTOP to apply self-exclusion. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep account data for as long as your account is open and for the period required by anti-money-laundering and gambling regulations after it closes, normally five years.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy in a portable format. Contact our support team to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS, stored on access-controlled servers, and only available to staff who need it for their role.
